Three friends who totally believe in peace gathered together recently and had an idea, not a new one mind you.
Nevertheless the idea is that deep down each and everyone of us wants to live in harmony and peace with each other and nobody really wants war, period.
So we sought to express that idea in a way meaningful to us and hopefully to everyone else on the planet.
The Global Cease Fire Day channel on Youtube, with its appeal to the mothers and fathers of all the worlds soldiers asking their sons and daughters to put down their weapons for one day was then born, it was our start.
The response we have got thus far is sensational to say the least.
Of course we hope our songs and videos and the like contributions from our subscribers speak for us and where we come from more than anything but the biggest hope of our loving hearts behind the channel is expressed in an ideal form, that all soldiers lay down their arms for one day (and hopefully beyond).
We believe it is an achievable ideal if many work towards it, call for it, really want it.
We want it.
The intent and hope behind that appeal was to stir questions from deep within ALL parents the world over who read it.
To question themselves as to what it is you and your children are actually fighting for and indeed what we as human beings let alone parents are allowing our governments to do in the name of peace.
Peace is not achieved through force, one war merely creates another, this is our belief.
The cycle of cultural, racial, religious and ideological intolerance's maintained by the various civilisations that lead us to war against each other must be broken for war to cease and peace to take hold.
It is the individual who breaks the cycle, it is their desire for peace, unity and love in the world, it is their voice that calls for change that starts a new cycle, peace gathers its own momentum.
If you are reading this then clearly YOU are that voice.
YOU are that change.
YOU are that momentum.
